As a subscriber to Domeble, your subscription covers light commercial and online digital licensing, such as social media, blogs and single product use or commercial websites. Should you wish to extend your licensing, you are required to purchase an extended commercial license that will cover you for all uses, for all territories in-perpetuity.

As a subscriber you will receive a discount of between 25% and 40% depending on your subscription package. This discount is  applied to your extended license purchase with a discount code that is issued with your subscription package.

For our corporate clients, agencies and larger organisations we offer an account service to suit each organisations requirements. 

    Commercial usage can sometimes be confusing, but understanding its definitions can help clarify the matter:

• If you are receiving payment for your work, it falls under commercial use. Even if you are not being paid but the end product will be used to sell a product, your use is considered commercial.
• If you initially used content in a portfolio piece, but later need to use it for a paid project, you can upgrade from non-commercial to commercial use. The process for upgrading is typically straightforward. You can reach out to us via email, and our team will guide you through the process, or purchase an extended lisence. In many cases, the client who is using the content for advertising purposes will cover the costs of the upgrade. • If you’re uncertain whether a specific use falls under commercial use, don’t hesitate to ask for clarification. As professional creators ourselves, we are here to assist you and want to see you succeed in your career. We possess extensive expertise in rights management and copyright matters, and we’re more than happy to address any questions you may have.

• Determine the time period: First, decide how long you need the content license for. You can choose between 1 year, 3 years, or inperpetuity.
• Define the target territory: Specify the target territory for your content usage. You can select a specific country, a major region, or worldwide coverage.
• At Domeble we understand that licensing can be complex, so we’ve simplified the process. and to make things better for you,  when you license any content as an extended license it covers all media.
• Calculate pricing:Our pricing is simplified based on the factors mentioned above. Take into account the time period, and target territory to determine the cost of the license.
• Consider multi-image discounts: If you plan to license a larger number of images, you may be eligible for multi-image discounts. This means that the more images you license, the greater the discount you can receive. Additionally, bulk purchases of assets may also qualify for further discounts. • Obtain the necessary files: Once you have selected and licensed the desired content, ensure that you receive the appropriate files. For example, if you license an HDRi  you should receive both the .hdr radiance file and the tone-mapped 360º .tif file. Similarly, for photographic backplates, you should receive the .tif backplate file along with the matching HDR file format.

Rights Managed Content represents our experienced legacy of providing background/backdrop content for 3D workflows. The collection contains professional photography of locations that have been captured around the world. These images were shot specifically for product placement and storytelling.

Both backplates and 360° HDRI maps can be found in the Rights Managed Content, with the quality level meeting the high standards as defined at the time of capture. 

Content in the Rights Managed collection consists of HDRIs in the .exr and  .hdr radiance file format at a minimum resolution of 8,000pixels wide up to 35,000 pixels wide and backplate images in the .dng and .jpeg file format with resolutions up to 14,000 pixels wide. 

Backplates are traditional photographs shot by professional photographers that serve as the background for your render or product shot. The preview size for backplates is 1000 pixels in .jpg format. For high-resolution formats, you can download them in 4K for .jpg formats or for Max Res of 14,250px .dng format.

HDR Images, or hdris, are high-dynamic-range spherical images used for lighting and reflections of a 3D project. Our hdris are shot by professional photographers with years of production experience. The preview size for hdris is 1000 pixels in .jpg format. For high-resolution formats, you can download them in 2K, 4K, 8K, 16K, and 30K widths.

Formats available for hdris include:

• .hdr (32-bit images – 8 bits per component, but with an additional (shared) 8-bit exponent value)
• .exr (32-bit images – stored as multiple layers and passes at full float)
• .tif (16-bit color calibrated tonemapped image)
