As things begin to return to some kind of normality, the creative industries will be looking for ways to bring things back into line with their original plans. Budgets will be being re-appraised, marketing plans will be being put back on the table (in their original form or most likely an amended and reduced one) and advertisers and manufacturers will be looking for positive solutions to their challenges.
Advertising shoots have been postponed or put on hold, or have gone ahead in very inventive ways whilst we’ve been in lockdown, produced remotely and with compliance to social distancing. But we can’t keep shooting Zoom-style ads forever, or keep tailoring our comms to montages of everyone coping as best they can in their own homes. It’s time to move on. Bob Hoffman, the New York based advertising specialist says now is the time to ‘get back to product and brand-focused marketing.’
For many industry professionals, stock, or pre-shot imagery and videos were already an excellent alternative to shooting from scratch. They are cheaper, quicker and very convenient (particularly when a CG Artist gets hold of them) and also high in quality – both technically and creatively.
Eli Ash, the Head of Production at New York content agency Mustache says this of using stock, “We’ve always been really nimble and flexible with how we remix assets to add extra depth and layers to it through animation or CGI. We can give our clients a lot of options with content they already have from previous campaigns or by building on to stock that we license. We don’t typically offer a simple, linear edit using stock, we like to spin it on its head a bit and make it feel more elevated by flexing some of our other strengths”.
What Ash is saying is that with a skilled CG Artist on board, stock imagery can be utilised in many and varied ways – or simply used in exactly the form one licenses it. Solutions are what people are looking for, and at Domeble, that is basically what we offer; as an agency, we offer our clients pre-shot imagery – the highest resolution backplates (landscapes) and 360 Degree HDRIs (High Dynamic Range Imaging) with the highest pixel count available. Our flexible approach means we can also offer comp licenses, so clients can use as many comps as they need, but only pay for the one license.
We understand that as an Agency or an Automotive Manufacturer your requirements, asset needs and budgets are unique and it may benefit you to work with us on a more direct and personalised level. Domeble can offer you a dedicated account facility with volume discounting, free image searches and flexible accounting terms to suit your company; in other words, a Corporate Account.
There are many financial benefits to having a Corporate Account with Domeble. But there are also practical ones that will help smooth your workflow, such as a collaborative light box facility that allows you and your team to build and share imagery within the same light box. We also offer easy access to the collections for internal visualisation and presentations, with a flexible set of download facilities to suit your staff requirements, whether you are a small team or a large department with multiple users. This ‘try before you buy’ approach will help with your design and marketing plans, bringing things to life before they are actually produced.
So if you think you could benefit from a corporate account, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us at info@www.domeble.com
